Unlockable How to Unlock Aeon Cup Requires that 8 specific creatures be captured and released with Fiend Tales completed. Cactuar Cup After beating Grand Cup: Hard thrice (3 times), beating it once again (while defeating the Cactuar team). Glitches
- Whenever you are playing Blitzball, and currently are winning (i.e. your score is higher than the other team's) just swim behind your own goalie. Stay there and everyone else on the field will go to the other side and swim in circles. Sometimes, a member of the opposite team will follow you. Just shake him loose (breaking through him is an easy way) and he too will just leave you alone. Stay there for the remainder of the game and you will win.
Blitzball Easy Win Bug
- When you initially arrive at Djose Temple, you'll find Lucil riding a chocobo. You need to get in her way so as she approaches the temple; if done correctly, Tidus will glide to the area where a cutscene occurs. Skip Lucil's text box and you should be able to freely move during the cutscene. If you move toward the other road next to the one leading to the temple, you can skip Djose Temple: however, note that this will prevent you from getting Ixion and the treasures within the temple.

Unlockable How to Unlock Anima Solve the Destruction Sphere-related puzzle in each of the main five Cloisters of Trials. Then go to the Baaj Temple. Magus Sisters Obtain the Blossom Crown and Flower Scepter and then open the door at the back of Remium Temple. Yojimbo Enter the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth in the Calm Lands after getting the Airship - There are also hidden locations accessible by using the "Input" feature found in the airship command list. You can find these passwords by deciphering Al Bhed messages left in specific locations around Spira. Note that all of the passwords are case-sensitive.

- During a blitzball game go to one of the corners on the right side of the arena so that the other team's players leave you alone (also referred to as the easy win bug). While there pass to the player nearby and have them pass the ball repeatedly between each other. Each pass gives you 1 EXP which can rack up a lot of experience by half-time already.

- When you fight Evrae Atlana underwater in Bevelle, simply use some Phoenix Downs on her and she should die quickly. If you don't have any Phoenix Downs, X-Potions and Elixers work wonders against her as well.

- To acquire Yojimbo at the lowest possible price, do the following - When he asks you why you wish to have him join you, select the 3rd option "To defeat the most powerful of enemies". His initial demand will be 250,000. Offer him 125,001. He will counter with 225,000. Offer him 112,501. He will counter with 202,500. Offer him 141,751. He will give his final offer of 190,350. You can now acquire him at 190,350 or offer him 571,050 to get him and 2 Teleport Spheres.

- Use Provoke on him. As long as you don't switch out the character who used Provoke (this includes by summoning), Defender X will only attack them and no one else, and only with Blast Punch, which cannot kill you, making it impossible to lose.

- To get this ending, Let the Final boss fire its cannon. This process takes about 30 Minutes of doing nothing but waiting for him. The speech must go on 7 times before the cannon fires.

Unlockable How to Unlock Crimson Sphere 1 In CH3 when Djose Temple needs your help with fiends, go instead back to Bevelle Underground where you fought Bahamut. Crimson Sphere 10 In CH3, go to GuadoSalam and get invited into Logos and Ormi's room to obtain it. Crimson Sphere 2 Given to you by Gippal and Nooj after you fall into one of the holes that the fayth made. Crimson Sphere 3 Given to you also by Gippal and Nooj after you fall into one of the holes that the fayth made. Crimson Sphere 4 Found in Guadosalam inside Chateau Leblanc. Crimson Sphere 5 In CH4, go to the engine room of the Celsius when Leblanc is there. Crimson Sphere 6 Found in Cloister 0 of the Via Infinito. Crimson Sphere 7 Visit the ravine in Mushroom Rock Road in CH2. Crimson Sphere 8 Found in Cloister 20 of the Via Infinito. Crimson Sphere 9 In CH1, follow Logos and Ormi in Mushroom Rock Road all the way to the ravine. - First you'll have to meet with Maechen at Guadosalam in Chapter 3. You'll find him when you meet up with Logos and Ormi in the same area. Next you have to get the ''whistling'' scene with Yuna at the end of Chapter 3. When you're alone in the Farplane, move Yuna around and continually press the X button. You'll hear whistling. That means you have activated the event. Next thing you have to do is get an Episode Complete in Luca during Chapter 5. All you have to do there is visit the location where Tidus taught Yuna how to whistle. Next, get an Episode Complete in Besaid. Finally, once you have beat the game, keep tapping the X button to get the ending.

- Baralai's Sphere can be found in Guadosalam beyond the locked door that everyone talks about. How do you do it? Examine the door in very Chapter. During Chapter 5, Tromell Guado will let you inside, if you were able to finish the mission on Mount Gagazet during Chapter 3.

- Get the good ending *check previous cheat or FAQs* and then in your New Game +, the Zanarkand Abes are a playable team. Tidus is named "Star Player" Beat the Abes once in Exhibition to gain the right to trade with them. It'll be hard, but you can trade for Tidus, who starts with an incredible 98 shoot.

Unlockable How to Unlock Besaid Secret Cave Get Besaid Key and get the search sphere. Check a FAQ for more details. Bikanel Desert: Central Expanse Send any level chocobo in any chapter. Playable only in Chapter 5. Den of Woe Collect All 10 Crimson Spheres to Unlock this Dungeon Fiend Colony Send a level 5 chocobo to Mihen Road Ruin Depths In chapter 5, send four Lv. 5 chocobos in Calm Lands until Clasko and the chocobos discover a new dungeon. Via Infinito In Chapter 5, go into the room with the lift and go to the right. You should see the Kinderguardians there and a new portal by them.
Secrets
- After giving O'aka 100,000 Gil to pay off his debt, he will sell you items for extremely cheap prices later. He sells Hi-Potions for 50 Gil, but you can still sell them for normal price.
Easy Money
If you buy 99 Hi-Potions at the 50 Gil price, and then sell them all, you can make over 3 times the money back. You can do this process over and over until you have the desired amount needed. - As long as the Gunner Gaunlet's Minigame is available, you can do this trick anytime. For an easy point in this minigame, go below the last waterfall to avoid conflict with the approaching enemies. Kill them and score points as you desire.
